Jean Carlin Busby, 77, of Bolivar, died early Thursday morning, June 9, 2005 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The widow of John W. Busby, who died March 8, 2000, she was a homemaker. Mrs. Busby was born May 19, 1928 in Hardeman County, daughter of the late Allen T. and Lessie Taylor Carlin and had lived here most of her life. She enjoyed flowers, fishing and her friends and family. Mrs. Carlin was Baptist in belief.
Services were 3 PM Saturday, June 11, 2005 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar chapel with David Cooper and Donald Carlin officiating. Burial was in Sulphur Springs Cemetery in McNairy County.
Survivors include two daughters, Judith Baker of Bolivar and Nitnoie Shestokes of Dunnellon, Florida; one son, Jerry Sanders of Bolivar; four brothers, Allen and William Carlin, both of Selmer, John Carlin of Pocahontas and Donald Carlin of Selmer; four grandchildren, Tonya Baker of Bolivar, Tracy Lindsey and her husband, Jason, of Bolivar, Jerry Weymond Sanders of Pocahontas, Tyler Castleberry of Bolivar & Dunnellon, Florida and one great grandchild, Brint Lindsey.
