Jean Benson

She was born and reared in the Jacks Creek Community of Chester County, the daughter of Dorothy Marie Brewer Lee and the late Leon Scott. She attended Chester County Schools and graduated in 1962. She was married to Bobby Benson in 1963. They made their home in Memphis and Bartlett all their married life. She had lived at Chester County Nursing Home since November 1994.

She is survived by her husband Bobby Gene Benson of Bartlett; a daughter Tina Marie Benson of Bartlett; her mother Dorothy Marie

Lee of Henderson; two sisters Janet Marie Laughlin of Jackson and Joyce Darlene Fenimore of Henderson; two grandchildren, twins Phillip and Cydni Benson-Murphree of Bartlett.

She was preceded in death by a son Phillip Scott Benson in August 2000.
