Jaunez Knipper

She was born in Chester County, the daughter of the late Clifford and Vivian Jones Smith. She worked for Salant & Salant Mfg. and other factories in the area. She also was employed by Jackson General Hospital as custodian. She retired in 1988. She was a member of the Enville Baptist Church. She was married to Arnold Grooms in 1945. He died in 1965. She was later married to Ted Knipper. He died in 1983.



She is survived by a son Daniel Grooms of Jackson, TN and two sisters Ruth Spencer of Covington and Robbie Stanfill of Henderson; and three brothers Bobby Smith of Henderson, Gleen Smith of Memphis and William Smith of Selmer and three grandchildren.
