He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and grew up in Westchester County, New York, the son of Susan Hollis Korsnes. He graduated from Gateway Christian Academy in Memphis. He entered the Marine Corp. and served as a machine gunner and was stationed at Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. He lived and worked in Memphis as a welder and also worked on hydraulics. He moved here two years ago and made his home with his mother and worked at Leroy Sumler.
He is survived by his mother Susan Hollis Korsnes and step father Christopher Young; a son Jason Lawrence Neisser, Jr. all of Luray: grandparents, Joel and Suzanne Hollis of Hagerstown, Maryland; a sister Erica Nicole Neisser of Kingman, AZ.
