Janie Sue Barnes

Janie Sue Ingle Barnes was born May 21, 1931 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late James William and Margret Agnes Crangle Ingle. She was united in marriage to Junior Lee Barnes on September 24, 1949. Mr. Barnes preceded her in death on September 23, 1966.

Janie was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Selmer, TN. She enjoyed quilting, reading the Bible, attending church when she was able, and cooking for holiday gatherings. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. 

She is survived by three daughters, Sandy Jones, Barbara Malone, Deborah Barnes; five grandchildren, Farrah Nemeth, Clay Jones, Tiffany Malone, Amanda Lester, Summer Barnes; five great grandchildren, Hayden Neill, Dillon Malone, Dakotah Parker, Scarlett Lester, Jakob Lester; two sisters, Shirley Kelough, Mary Lou Tibbs; a brother, Jimmy Ingle.

In addition to her husband and parents, Miss Barnes was preceded in death by five sisters, Dorothy Ingle, Vassie Stovall, Edna Broadway, Marie Powers, Katherine Kiser; four brothers, Thomas Ingle, Doug Ingle, W.T. Ingle, Paul Ingle.

Honoring Miss Barnes's wishes, there will not be a memorial service.
