Janice Wood
was born in Savannah, Tennessee on January 3, 1942 the daughter of Ollie Verna Robertson Reed and the late James L. Reed.
On September 25, 1965 she was united in marriage to John Norman Wood, who preceded her in death on May 30, 1998. Mrs. Wood worked as a retail clothing store manager.
She departed this life on February 2, 2007 at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 65 years and 30 days.
Mrs. Wood is survived by two daughters: Kimberly Rena Jett and Verna Lisa Hardin, both of Savannah, Tennessee; 6 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her mother, Ollie Verna Reed of Savannah; one sister: Debrah Russell of Savannah; and
three brothers: James Edward Reed of Elkhart, Indiana, Donnie Reed of Savannah, Tennessee and Monty Allen Reed of Shiloh, Tennessee.
In addition to her father and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, David Reed.
