Funeral Services for Janice Summers Stanfill, age 100, died July 5, 2007, will be Sunday 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Leon Johnson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Unity Cemetery.
Mrs. Stanfill, a homemaker, was born in Wolfe City, Texas, the daughter of the late Isaac Lafayette and Estelle Reed Summers. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy T. Stanfill, two brothers, Loyd and Bynum Summers, three sisters, Annie and Lucille Summers,Bonnie Rhodes and a grandson Chris Stanfill.
She is survived by two sons, Gerald of Beech Bluff and Joe R. of Luray, and two daughters, Peggy Stanfill of Henderson and Sarah E. Hammontree of Osceola, IN and five grandchildren; six great grandchildren and two great great grand-daughters and also one sister, Nellie Bess Armour of Henderson.
She was a member of the Unity Baptist Church.
