Janice Rinks was born on June 8, 1937 in Adamsville, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Robert Page and Reesa Caperton Smith.
In September of 1957, she was united in marriage to Joe Neal Rinks, who survives.
Janice was a member of Pickwick United Methodist Church, Republican Women's Club, and was the President of Shiloh Falls Homeowner's Association. She formerly worked as a substitute teacher in Bristol, Tennessee. She loved artwork, sewing, and vegetable and flower gardening.
Janice Rinks departed this life on November 28, 2022 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 85 years, 5 months, and 20 days.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Rinks of Counce, Tennessee; sons, Tim Rinks and his wife Melanie of Eads, Tennessee and Jeff Rinks and his wife Barbara of Winter Gardens, Florida; and grandchildren, Haley Rinks, Matthew Rinks, Melissa Rinks, and Caroline Rinks.
In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her sister, Vicki Perry.
