Janice Erwin
was born in the Cerro Gordo Community of Hardin County, Tennessee on February 8, 1943, the daughter of the late Dewey Samp and Alta Pauline Bromley Wallace.
In June of 1962, she was united in marriage to Ronald Erwin, who survives.
Mrs. Erwin was a homemaker and a member of Sinner’s Hope Church.
She departed this life on August 29, 2006 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 63 years, 6 months and 21 days.
Mrs. Erwin is survived by her husband, Ronald Erwin of Savannah, Tennessee;
a son, Shannon Erwin and a daughter, Rhonda Dobbs, both of Savannah, Tennessee;
3 grandchildren; and 3 brothers: Terry Paul Wallace of Jackson, Tennessee,
Harold Gene “Smiley†Wallace of Clifton, Tennessee and Jimmy Wayne Wallace of Bath Springs, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Roy “Heavy†Wallace, Auburn Lee “Shucks†Bromley and Junior Bromley.
