Mrs. Anderson died early Tuesday morning at her home in Bolivar.
She was the daughter of the late A. O. Sipes, Jr. and Gradie Chandler Sipes and lived all of her life in Bolivar. She married Frank Anderson on March 4, 1972 and he passed away November 8, 1996. Mrs. Anderson was a active member of the Bolivar Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she taught "children's church" for many years. She also was active in the Bolivar "Widows to Widows" organization. She retired in 2005, after 15 years of service as a Health Educator for the Hardeman County Health Department.
She leaves a daughter, Katherine Anderson, and her husband, Joe Neikirk, of Seattle, WA; a son, Franklin Anderson, and his wife, Mary, of Bolivar; a sister, Virginia Sipes of Bolivar; and two grandsons, Wyatt and Abram Anderson.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Dell, Lynn and Marvin Sipes.
