She was born in Newark, New Jersey on August 28, 1942, the daughter of the late Arthur and Eileen Warner.
Mrs. Young is survived by her husband, Gerald Young of Sardis, Tennessee; daughters, Roberta Child (Bryce) of Hernando, Mississippi, Valarie Walker of West Memphis, Arkansas, and Lisa Rager (Allen) of Memphis, Tennessee; grandchildren, Taylor Walker, Craig Caughrun, and Christi Solley (Michael); great grandchild, Ayden; brothers, Arthur Warner of California and Charles Adelman of New Jersey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Warner.
