Jane Evelyn Holt Smith

Jane Evelyn Holt Smith departed this life on Friday, January 7, 2022, at the age of 76 years, 7 months, and 12 days. She was born in Wayne County, Tennessee, on May 26, 1945, the daughter of the late Floyd and Grace Cagle Holt. On September 27, 1991, she was united in marriage to Charles William Smith, who survives.

Jane Evelyn was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She retired after 26 years of service to the church as its secretary. Jane Evelyn mostly wanted people to be know she was a "good ole soul", loved her family, and that they were the center of her life.

Jane Evelyn is survived by her husband of 30 years, Charles William Smith; children, Carol Warren Ellison and her husband David, and Robert Lee Warren and his wife Mary, all of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Tyler Warren and his wife Jessica, Jerry Warren and his wife Morgan, John David Ellison and his wife Mykah, and Jenna Ellison Turner and her husband Seth; great grandchildren, Riley Warren, Averly Warren, Manning Warren, Madi Ellison, Charli Ellison, and Ellison Turner; and brother, Billy Holt and his wife Dorothy of Clifton, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Holt.
