Jamie L. Cox

Jamie L. Cox was born July 14, 1972 in Shelby County, Tennessee the son of Hugh Wayne Cox and Cathy Owen.He was a member of Sulphur Springs Methodist church and attended Faith Point church. Jamie was a very loving and kind hearted person. He was the best daddy and husband, one of the biggest Tennessee Vols fan, and loved church and enjoyed attending Faith Point. He always met you with a smile or a joke...he was truly loved by everyone.Mr. Cox departed this life on June 8, 2009 in Stantonville, Tennessee at the age of 36 Years, 10 Months, 25 Days. He is survived by his wife Betsy Ann Cox; daughter, Shelby Cox; two step daughters, Hannah Hurd, and Cassidy Hurd; mother, Cathy Owen and husband Gary; father, Hugh Wayne Cox; brother, Hugh Douglas Cox and wife Teri; step sister, Alyson Foreman; father and mother-in-law, Billy and Karen Stiddom; brother-in-law, Jeremiah Stiddom and wife Desha; niece, Brandi Thrift; nephew, Eli Stiddom.He is preceded in death by grandparents, Hugh Allen "Tobe" Cox, Etta Cox, Allsion Owen, Eunice Fleming Owen, Carlie D. Cox and Lois King Cox.
