JAMES VERLAND WINTERBOTTOM
was born in Sullivan, Indiana on December 3, 1913, the son of Andrew and Mary E. Knott Winterbottom. During his lifetime, he worked as a tool and die maker.
Mr. Winterbottom departed this life while a patient at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at the age of 92 years and 10 days.
He is survived by two sons, James Robert Winterbottom of Davisburg, Michigan and T. Andrew Winterbottom of Lake Forest, Illinois and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nelle Mutz Winterbottom, his parents and two brothers, Eugene Winterbottom and Gail Winterbottom.
