Services will be held on Sunday, March 28, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Leo Doyle officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens in Waynesboro with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.



Visitation will be on Saturday, March 27, 6:00-9:00 pm and on Sunday, March 28, 12:00 noon until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home , Waynesboro



Mr. Williams departed this life on Friday, March 26, 2010 at Maury Reigonal Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 70 Years, 3 Months, 26 Days. e was born November 29, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan the son of the late John Paul and Jessie Ross Williams.



Jim was a retired Correctional Officer from Wayne County Boot Camp also worked at Turney Center in Only, TN. He served his country in the United States Air Force, member of Veterans of Foreign Wars , Air Force Association, The American Legion and the Wayne County Bible Center.



He is survived by ;his wife Angela (Brewer) Williams, daughter, Candace Thrasher ,son, Richard Williams grandchildren; Gabe Love, Riley Thrasher and Seth Williams; step grandchildren; Miciaha and Haven Staggs and Xzavier Farris all of Waynesboro, TN sister, Linda LaLonde of Pueblo, CO;
