Mr. James Barnie Warren was born November 27, 1924 in Wayne County, the son of the late Joseph Mance Wesley and Mary Isabell Davis Warren. Mr. Warren was a Retired Driver . He was a member of the Crossroad Baptist Church in Centerville, TN and attended Waynesboro Church of Christ in Waynesboro, TN. He was a bus driver for Tennessee Trailblazer Company for 39 years, a resident of the Beech Creek Community in Wayne County and a former resident of Centerville, TN and a proud Army Veteran having served his country during World War II. He was united in marriage to Mary Nell Green on April 11, 1990. Mrs. Warren preceded him in death on April 2, 2012. Mr. Warren departed this life on October 16, 2019 in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 94 Years, 10 Months, 19 Days.
Survivors Include: three sons, Dennis B. Warren (Susan), James Steven Warren (Debbie) both of Savannah, TN, Randall Warren (Debbie) of Crump, TN; three daughters, Erma L. Duren (Jerry) of Waynesboro, TN, Brenda Kate Harville(Mike), Connie Regina Deshazier (Jerry) both of Savannah, TN; a brother, James Glen Warren of Memphis, TN; four sisters, Mary Alice Morris of Waynesboro, TN, Gladys Marie Pulley of Hohenwald, TN, Nellie Frances Morris of Lawrenceburg, TN and Yvonne Ermerdean Battles of Clifton, TN. Mr. Warren is also survived by 9 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Warren was preceded in death by a son, Terry Michael Warren; a sister, Robbie Virginia Lewis; and a grandchild.
Services will be held on October 19, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Bobby Carroll and Justin Warren officiating. Burial will follow in the Warren Cemetery with full military honors.
