RONALD ‘BUBBA’ WALLACE
Huron, TN: James Ronald Wallace age 65 passed away March 9, 2020 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was born January 9, 1955 in Lexington, TN the son of the late James Murray and Mavis Irene Brittan Wallace. He grew up in Lexington and was a 1973 graduate of Lexington High School. He later attended Vo Tech at Crump and received certification in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration. He married Darlene Ross March 30, 1974 and they made their home in Huron. He worked at Leroy-Somer Factory as an assembler of small motors about forty years and also at Bailey’s Store. He was a member of the Old Jacks Creek Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon and was very active in the Church.
He coached softball for Dixie Youth and travel ball for several years. He especially enjoyed coaching his daughter and watching his grandchildren play.
Mr. Wallace is survived by his wife, Debra Darlene Ross Wallace of Huron; a son, Brandon Wallace (Melissa) of Reagan and a daughter, Samantha Nicole Tucker of Luray; grandchildren, Hayden Tucker, MacKenzie Wallace and Carley Young; a brother, Keith Wallace (Janie) of Wildersville, TN and a sister, Martha House (Bill) of Lexington.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandchild, Sebastian Wallace and sisters, Shirley Horton, Molly Wallace, Phyllis Dyer and Kaye Bledsoe.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday at Old Jacks Creek Missionary Baptist Church with Sam McAdams officiating. Burial will follow at Bailey’s Cemetery.
The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday at the Church and Thursday morning until service time at the Church.
