James Patrick Veo

James Patrick (Jimbo) Veo, Sr. was born on March 9, 1963, in Marlborough, Massachusetts the son of Walter F. Veo, Jr., who survives and Agnus Margaret Elsbree, who preceded him in death. On April 28, 1995, he was united in marriage to Vickey Lynn Collum, who survives.
In 1982, he graduated from Hardin County High School and served his country in the United States Navy from 1986 until 1988. He was employed as a truck driver for twenty-four years. He liked fishing, hunting, camping and mechanic work, but he enjoyed spending most of his time with his family.
Mr. Veo departed this life, at his home in Savannah, Tennessee, on September 17, 2014, at the age of 51 years, 6 months and 8 days.
In addition to his wife, Vickey and his father, Walter, he is survived by a son, James Patrick Veo, Jr. and a daughter, Margaret Roach, both of Savannah, Tennessee; one granddaughter, Ashlyn Grace O'Dell; one brother, Julian Veo of Savannah, Tennessee and one sister, Marie Manhollan and her husband, Ronnie of Mount Airey, Maryland; one nephew, Rusty and his wife, Kara of Manhollan, Maryland and one niece, Christina Manhollan of Maryland.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one brother, Danny Veo; grandparents, Agnus and Lenny Bisson and Anne Veo and Walter F. Veo, Sr.
A Private Family Memorial Service will be held.
