James Troy Thomas

James Troy Thomas was born June 22, 1942 in Savannah, TN the son of the late Troy and Wilma Neill Thomas.

He was united in marriage to Joyce Marie King on June 22, 1984.

Mr. Thomas was a truck driver for many years. He was an avid car collector, animal lover, and enjoyed going to flea markets. Spending time with his family, cookouts, and cooking for the holidays were some of his favorite things. He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Thomas departed this life on May 21, 2018 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 75 Years, 10 Months, 29 Days. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Thomas of Selmer, TN; two daughters, Cynthia Holloway of Sweetlips, TN, Candice Thomas of Savannah, TN; two sons, Kenneth Thomas and wife Tina of Corinth, MS, Keith Thomas of Selmer, TN; stepson, Buddy Mathis and wife Connie of Ripley, MS; four grandchildren, Timothy Thomas, Stephen Edwards, Stephanie Holloway, Hunter Thomas; three great grandchildren, Tanner Thomas, Tinlee Thomas, Kalvin Edwards; special niece, Martha Johnson; special great niece, Melody Corkum and husband, Wesley and their son, Logan; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Neill Thomas; a sister, Linda Ingle; a brother, Dwight Thomas.
