James Earnest Stanfield

James Earnest (Ernie) Stanfield of Pocahontas, TN was born November 19, 1948 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late Buford Earl and Essie Lee Lowrance Stanfield.Mr. Stanfield was a residential contractor and certifed electrician. He was church of Christ in faith. Ernie was currently working at WalMart in Selmer. He enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids whom he loved dearly. Also, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being with friends at the square dance. Mr. Stanfield departed this life on March 13, 2013 at his home in Pocahontas at the age of 64 Years, 3 Months, 22 Days. He is survived by a daughter, Angela Childers and husband Terry of Ramer, TN; a son, Kenneth Stanfield and (Mary) of Bethel Springs, TN; five grandchildren, Billy Childers, Laurabeth Childers, Lindsey Childers, Lydia Childers, and Buford J. Stanfield; a great grandchild, Tyson Huckabee; three sisters, Eleanor Gibson of Rolla, MO, Elizabeth Miller of Tiskilwa, IL, and Elaine Stanfield of Rolla, MO; and two brothers, Tom Stanfield and Frank Stanfield, both of Ramer, TN. A host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.In addition to his parents, Mr. Stanfield was preceded in death by two sisters, Julean Commer and Jane Bogatitus; and two brothers, Payton Stanfield and Mac Stanfield.
