Mr. Stack died Saturday evening, December 3, 2011 at the VA Medical Center in Memphis.
The husband of Cathy Stack, whom he married December 8, 1975, he was born in Toone, May 7, 1948 to James Howard Sr. and May Bell Standfield Stack. He was Christian in belief, an original member of the Iron Horsemen Motorcycle Club in Memphis and had lived all his life in Hardeman County. He served his country during the Vietnam War in the US Army, 173rd Airborn Division.
Survivors include his wife Cathy of Bolivar; a son, Daniel Stack and wife Jin Ahn of Orlando, FL; two sisters, May Jones of Lecanto, FL, and Ruthie Barbour of Norfolk, VA; one brother Larry Stack of Trussville, AL; and his constant companion, his dog Scooter.
