James Robert (Rabbit) Shull
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on February 9, 1931 the son of the late Jay and Mazie Franks Shull.
He was united in marriage to the former Peggy Ruth Lipford, who survives. Mr. Shull worked as a timber cutter.
He departed this life on October 14, 2006 at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah at the age of 75 years, 8 months and 5 days.
Mr. Shull is survived by his wife, Peggy Ruth Shull of Savannah, Tennessee;
2 daughters: Brenda Herdon of Savannah and Rose Hardin of Adamsville, Tennessee;
one son, Dennis Young of Adamsville; 6 grandchildren: Chris Young, Chad Hardin, Jana Young, Douglas Young, Kelsey Young and Grant Young; 5 great-grandchildren;
3 sisters: Ruby Baugus, of Crump, Tennessee, Margaret White of Savannah, Tennessee and Emma Lois Grisham of Memphis, Tennessee and 6 Honorable Grandchildren: Crystal Moon, Lauren Allen, Hunter Melson, Justin Melson, Ashton Melson and Destiney.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Betty Fluty, Juanita Dowdy and Christine White and one brother, W.H. Shull.
