James Scott

James Scott, age 95, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 18, 2019. James was born in Kentucky to Mary and Tony Scott.

He lived a very rich life with his wife, Barbara Mae Scott, and their four sons, Jimmy, Tony, Thomas, and Joey. James was a World War II veteran who served in the Navy on the USS Dorsey and then on the USS Hawkins. He is survived by his two sons Thomas, his wife Pamela, and son Joey, loving grandchildren, in-laws, nieces and nephews, and a host of long true friends.

Services will be held Friday, December 27, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with family members officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Methodist Church Cemetery near Lawrenceburg, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family. Visitation is on Friday, December 27, 2019 from 9:00 AM-until service time at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
