James Rickey Ring

James Rickey Ring of Michie, TN was born August 3, 1947 in Dyer, TN the son of the late James and Reba Alexander Ring. He was united in marriage to his wife Janice on November 8, 1997. He departed this life on December 17, 2019 in Corinth, MS at the age of 72 Years, 4 Months, 14 Days.

Rickey was retired from Caterpillar Corporation in Corinth, MS. He was a member of Full Gospel Fellowship Church of Bethel Springs, TN. He was a Veteran of the U. S. Army and served in the 101st. Airborne Division at Ft. Campbell, KY. He loved his family, his church, and church family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his guns.

He is survived by his wife Janice Ring of Michie, TN; a son, Richard Allen Ring; a stepson, Dale Shelton; a stepdaughter, Keena Finley; two sisters, Sherry Thomas and Judith Vance; four step grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Ring was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Ring.
