Mr. Vaughan passed from this life on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at Bolivar General Hospital.
Mr. Vaughan was born in Bolivar and lived most of his life here except for two years in Ohio. He was the son of the late G. W. Vaughan and Addie Moore Vaughan Shrump. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Bill Vaughan.
A 1958 graduate of Bolivar Central High School, he worked for over 30 years at Troxel Corporation in Moscow, TN as maintenance foreman. On January 29, 1966, he married Leslie Sayers and they enjoyed 52 years of marriage together. Mr. Vaughan was a member of Shandy Baptist Church and in his leisure time he enjoyed fishing, gardening, being outdoors and working in the yard. He particularly enjoyed helping his family and neighbors with his plumbing and electrical abilities.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter, Nikki (Paul) Pulse of Olive Branch and their children, Emily and Elyse; son, Scott McCullough of Hilo, Hawaii; sister, Loulana Culver of Woodstock, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews.
