James L. Prince was born on July 10, 1946 to Lilbert D. Prince and Lowenstein Hendrix Prince in Memphis, TN.
He was raised in Hughes, AR. He finished high school in Alcorn County. James joined the Army in 1963 and received an honorable hardship discharge to help his grandmother take care of his five siblings.
He was married to Tommie Davis Prince for 25 years. They did everything together. James died November 25, 2021 at his home at the age of 75 years, 3 months, and 25 days.
James was a painter, carpenter, floor leveler and tattoo artist. He owned Jim's Tattoo in Corinth, MS. He loved to fish, hunt, dance, build and fix things. He was always ready to help a friend in need. He always told people that he wasn't a good man, but he was a considerate man.
James leaves his wife, three sisters and a brother. He is greatly missed.
