James Edmond Prewitt

James Edmond "Ed" Prewitt, 60, of Memphis, formerly of Saulsbury, died Saturday morning, June 16, 2007 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.
Born in Hardeman County, son of the late James Dorris Prewitt and Mary Ann Gee Prewitt, he was a graduate of UT Martin and had received his MBA. He was a retired U.S. Army Major and had lived the last 18 years in Memphis. He was preceded in death, by his wife, Joann Prewitt in 2000.
Survivors include two aunts, Nell Smith of Amory, MS and Theda Gee of Tampa, FL; two uncles, William Joseph Prewitt of Hephzibah, GA and Charles Curry of Memphis; three cousins, Emily Johnson and Ellen Curry, both of Germantown and Mary Ann Cope of Jackson, MS.
