Funeral services for James Thomas Pipes, will be held on Friday, July 25, 2008 at 4:00 PM at 1211 Natural Bridge Road Highway 99 East in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Casey Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery , Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be on Thurday, July 24, 6:30 pm until service time on Friday, July 25 at the home on 1211 Natural Bridge Road Highway 99 East, Waynesboro,TN
Mr. Pipes departed this life on July 24, 2008 in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 46 Years, 1 Month, 5 Days. He was born June 19, 1962 in Savannah, Tennessee the son of Pearl Brown Pipes of Waynesboro,TN and the late Frank Herman Pipes. In addition to his father, Mr. Pipes was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Pipes
James was disabled and a member of the Eastview Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee.
He was united in marriage to Letha Ann Lathrop on October 4, 1993.
He is survived by, in addition to his mother, his wife, Letha Pipes of Waynesboro, TN; a step son, Eric Lee Lochner and wife Amber of New York; a step daughter, Patrica Marie Titus and husband Josh of New York; sisters, Sue Risner of Waynesboro, TN, Janice Brewer and husband Scott of Waynesboro, TN, Frankie Harris and husband Clery of Savannah, TN, Joann Hickman of Waynesboro, TN; 2 step grandchildren; 8 nephews and 6 nieces
