JAMES WESLEY PARSONwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on December 18, 1930 the son of the late John Allen and Mary Magalen Hindman Parson.On June 10, 1961 he was united in marriage to the former Cora Leevon Milligan, who survives.Mr. Parson was a self-employed logger. He was a member of the Flatwood Bluegrass Band. Mr. Parson was a United States Army Veteran. He departed this life on January 20, 2008 at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 77 years, 1 month and 2 days.Other than his wife, Cora of Counce, Tennessee, he is survived by one daughter, Eugenda Lee Blakney and her husband Johnny of Michie, Tennessee.2 sons, Paul Edward and James Robert Parson, both of Counce, Tennessee.2 grandsons, John Blake and Jesse Aaron Blakney2 sisters, Virginia Terry of Shiloh, Tennessee and Maudie Milligan of Counce, Tennessee.2 brothers, Herbert Parson of Michie, Tennessee and Roy Parson of Counce, Tennessee.Mr. Parson was also preceded in death by one son, James Stacy Parson, 2 sisters, Dora Parson and Reba Parson and 2 brothers, Hobert and Arbie Parson.
