Mr. Mills passed away Monday at Mississippi Care Center in Corinth.
The husband of LaJoyce T. Mills, who survives, he was a retired truck driver, having driven for Thurston for 20 years and most recently for Service Transports. He was born to Earis Agusta Mills and Lillian Pulse Mills, both of whom preceded him in death and lived in Memphis for the past 30 years. He was Pentecostal in faith.
In addition to his wife, whom he married on January 7, 1978, survivors include three sons, James Robert 'Bob' Mills, Jr. of Middleton, Terry Lynn Mills of Pocahontas and Dennis L. Mills of Mitchell, Indiana; two stepsons, Robby Fleece and Joe Fleece, both of Memphis; two brothers, Jerry Eugene Mills and Alex Jerome Mills, both of Middleton; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jeannette Mills Tomlinson.
