James Truett McKinney, 66, of Horn Lake, Mississippi, died Saturday, October 28, 2006 at the VA Hospital in Memphis.
He was a retired self-employed painter and served in the U.S. Army from 1958-1960. He lived in Memphis prior to moving to Horn Lake 36 years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Kerry Sue McKinney of Horn Lake; daughter, Karen Hammer of Horn Lake; three sons, Wayman Coleman of Southaven, Dewey Leon Coleman of Selmer and James Darrell McKinney of Horn Lake; two brothers, Lonnie Darrell McKinney of Roanoke, Virginia and Billy Pruett McKInney of Middleton; twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Clyde 'Bill' McKinney & Jewell Pruett McKinney.
