James Truman McEarl

Mr. McEarl was born and reared in the Laster Community of Henderson County, the son of the late Arlie Bryant and Ida Mae Brantley McEarl. He went to school at Laster school. He entered the U. S. Navy and served abroad ship during WWII. He was married to Marie Butler in 1959. They lived most of their married life in the Laster Community where they farmed. He loved to raise horses and mules and they participated in many area wagon trains.



Mr. McEarl is survived by his wife Marie Butler McEarl and a son Keith McEarl both of Huron. He was preceded in death by a son Tommy Wayne McEarl in 1967.



He is also survived by a brother Frank McEarl of Luray, and four sisters; Norita McClain of Selmer, Shirley Campbell of Lexington, Glenda Massengill of Reagan, and Brenda McAdams of Huron.
