James Otis McCasland

JAMES OTIS MCCASLANDwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on November 27, 1919 the son of the late Grant Allen and Addie Martin McCasland.On August 1, 1941 he was united in marriage to Melba Smith, who preceded her husband in death on November 27, 2007.Mr. McCasland was a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for State of Tennessee Highway Department. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II. Mr. McCasland was a member of Christian Assembly in Adamsville, Tennessee. He loved his dog, Domino and he enjoyed gardening, working in his shop, riding golf carts and he enjoyed doing mechanic work.Mr. McCasland departed this life on February 9, 2012 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 92 years, 2 months and 13 days.He is survived by one daughter, Sue Ann McCasland of Adamsville, Tennessee4 grandsons, 5 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildrenone sister, Edith Gann of Wytheville, Virginia
