James Thomas Lynn

James Thomas Lynn, Jr. was born June 30, 1957 in Hohenwald, TN, the son of James Thomas Lynn, Sr. of Waynesboro, TN who survives and the late Ruby Simmons Lynn. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Joel Lynn.

He was united in marriage to Susan Annette Cummings on October 8, 1999.

Junior was a heavy equipment operator and was employed by Vulcan Materials Company and also worked for Wayne County Rock. He loved his work with heavy equipment. He also enjoyed camping, riding motorcycles, and spending leisure time with his wife and had served in the TN. National Guard.

Junior departed this life tragically on Monday, July 25, 2016 in Savannah, TN at the age of 59 yrs. 25 days. He is survived by his wife, Susan Annette Lynn, son, James Steven (Jamie) Lynn, daughter, Dalanna Michelle Hensley, grandchildren, Miranda, Easton, Addy and Glen Lynn and Paxton Hensley, sister, Reba Lynn Hollis, step-daughter, Crystal Kelley and her children, Zachary, Danielle and Hunter all of Waynesboro, TN and several nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends.

Services will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at 1:30 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Larry Janes officiating. Burial will follow in Copeland Cemetery , Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.
