James Bradley Long
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on September 4, 1940 the son of the late Edd Ellsworth and Edna Lucille Cooper Long.
On September 9, 1960 he married Martha Jane Steward of Savannah, Tennessee, who survives.
Mr. Long owned B&J Sporting Goods. He was a member of the East End United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge #152, Scottish Rite, National Sporting Goods Association, and Sports, Inc. He was a former Hardin County Commissioner and Hardin County Election Commissioner. Past President of Hardin County Little League, Little League/Dixie Youth Coach and founding member of Hardin County Youth Football.
Mr. Long departed this life on February 21, 2008 at the age of 67 years, 5 months, 17 days.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 3 sons: David Long, Don Long, Keith Long all of Savannah, Tennessee; 5 grandchildren: Steven Long, Lauren Long, Jason Long, Jordan Long, Emma Long.
