James Edward King passed away Wednesday morning at Bolivar General Hospital.
The husband of Teresa King, who survives, he was an insurance catastrophe adjuster. Mr. King was born May 18, 1961 in Memphis to Morris King of Somerville and Mildred F. King of Saulsbury. He was a member of West Memorial Baptist Church and lived in Saulsbury since April of 1998.
In addition to his wife, whom he married November 15, 1979, he is survived by four daughters, Amanda Jeanne Page of Middleton, Christian Michelle, Jennifer Estelle, and Kimberly Diane King, all of Saulsbury; his stepmother, Lorraine King of Somerville; nine grandchildren, Cody Ray Brewer, Carly and Charley Pendergrast, Timothy James Page, Bailey Marie Page, Andrew Thomas Page, Blake Edward Young, Tracy Morgan Young, and Joseph Elliot King; and his paternal grandfather, Joe Hill of Saulsbury. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tracy Marie Pendergrast, who died September 20, 2003.
