James Edwin Johnson, age 86, a long time resident of Hazel Park, Michigan died Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at Kindred Hospital, Lincoln Park. He was born January 28, 1919 in Cypress Inn, Tennessee.
Mr. Johnson served in the 82nd Airborne Division during World War II. He was a machine operator for many years at Midwest Wire in Ferndale, Michigan. He was a member of Apostolic Faith Tabernacle and the Disabled American Veterans.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Wright Johnson, a brother, and three sisters.
He is survived by sons; James Johnson and his wife Sandra of Taylor, Michigan, Jeff Johnson and his wife Lisa of Hazel Park, Michigan, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews
