James O'Neal Jernigan

James O. Jernigan was born March 9, 1924 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late Hugh and Dora Hodge Jernigan.
He was united in marriage to the late Annie Louise Goodrum Jernigan.
Mr. Jernigan retired as a shop foreman after 33 years from Tennessee Department of Transportation in Bethel Springs, TN. He was a member of the Sanctified Church of Christ.
Mr. Jernigan departed this life on January 12, 2007 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 82 Years, 10 Months, 3 Days. He is survived by three sons, James O'Neal Jernigan, Jr., Jerry Jernigan and Ronald Jernigan all of Selmer, TN; five grandchildren, Jamie Rowland, Shannon Bolen, Gina Crenshaw, Tyler Jernigan and Ashley Jernigan; four great grandchildren, Anna Kate Crenshaw, Kole Crenshaw, Brianna Rowland and Jamerson Rowland.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Jernigan was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Sue Jernigan; three brothers, Qunnie Jernigan, Austin Jernigan and Eugene Jernigan.
