James Sterling Hurst age, 78, of Waynesboro, TN will be on Wednesday February 7, 2007, 3:00 pm Shackelford Chapel, Waynesboro with Josh Stults and Butch Kephart officiating. Interment following in Greenwood Cemetery, Waynesboro with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.
James Sterling Hurst a native of Wayne County, TN died on Saturday February 3, 2007 at his residence in Waynesboro. Mr. Hurst was born on December 20, 1928 in Waynesboro, TN to the late James N. and Vera Moore Hurst. He was preceded in death by wife; Hazel Marie Dudley Hurst; brothers; Billy and Gordon Hurst sister; Ruth Imogene Stooksberry.
Mr. Hurst was a retired Tech. Sgt with the United States Air Force and of the Protestant Faith.
Survivors; ; daughter; Verna Caruthers of Hohenwald, TN
Grandson; William Caruthers of Spokane Wash.
