James Benny Huggins was born May 19, 1930 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late Robert Lee and Nannie Cheshier Huggins. Mr. Huggins departed this life on June 12, 2013 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 83 Years, 24 Days.Mr. Huggins was a self-employed carpenter. He served his country honorably in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Selmer. He was united in marriage to Irma E. Plunk Huggins who preceded him in death on February 3, 2007. Benny was a charter member of the Selmer Moose Lodge.He is survived by three sons, James Stanley Huggins and wife Susan of Selmer, TN, Rickey Wayne Huggins of Selmer, TN, Charles Terry Huggins and wife Whitney of Selmer, TN; two grandchildren, Courtney Huggins Lands, Shelby Huggins; a grt-grandchild, Ashtyn Lands. A host of extended family and friends.In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Huggins was preceded in death by a grt-grandchild, Hadley Aaliyah Lands, on April 10, 2013; two sisters, Ellawese Grant, Marie Huggins; three brothers, Freeman Huggins, John R. Huggins, Bobby Frank Huggins.
