James E. Hudson departed this life on Monday, August 11, 2014, at the age of 89 years, 8 months, 1 day.
He was born in McNairy County, Tennessee on December 10, 1924, the son of the late Oscar and Annie Smith Hudson. On May 26, 1950, he was united in marriage to Joyce Garrett, who survives. He was a member of the Savannah Church of Christ.
James is survived by his wife of 64 years, Joyce Hudson Savannah, Tennessee; son, James R. Hudsonof Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Jamie Hudson, Emily Hudson Dice, Charlotte Fahnoe Yeglic, and Christian Fahnoe; great-grandchildren, Josh Jefferson, Easton Dice, and Ella Dice.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Hudson Service and 12 siblings.
