JAMES ROBERT HARBIN
was born in the Cerro Gordo community in Hardin County, Tennessee on April 15, 1944 to the son of the late James Elbert and Lillie Clementine White Harbin.
On December 18, 1964 he was united in marriage to Margie Lanell Findley, who survives.
Mr. Harbin retired from Clayton Manufacturing in Savannah, Tennessee. He also had worked for 17 years in civil engineering, drawing church plans, remodeling businesses, churches and houses. Mr. Harbin attended Peoples Tabernacle in Savannah. His hobbies were woodworking, model trains and studying his Bible.
Mr. Hardin departed this life on July 29, 2016 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 72 years, 3 months and 14 days.
In addition to his wife of 51 years, Margie of Savannah, Tennessee, he is survived by his children, Carla Landers and her husband Dan of Greenbrier, Tennessee, Kathy Oros and her husband Carl of Nashville, Tennessee and Lisa Vanhoose and her husband John of Savannah, Tennessee.
five grandchildren, Bethany, Ashley and Cana Landers of Greenbrier, Tennessee and Andrew and Audrey Vanhoose of Savannah, Tennessee
two sisters, Gail Ross of Sikeston, Missouri and Rose Moss of Zephyr Cove, Nevada
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one infant sister.
