Funeral services for James A. Gobbell, age 74, of Waynesboro,TN will be on Monday, January 8, 2007 11:00 am Shackelford Chapel, Waynesboro with Cary Crews officiating. Interment following in Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 7 from 2:00-9:00 pm and on Monday January 8 from 8:00 am until service time at Shackelford Chapel, Waynesboro
James A. Gobbell a native of Wayne County, TN died on Friday, January 5, 2007, at Maury Regional Hospital, Columbia, TN. He was born on October 29, 1932 to Mrs. Roxie Nutt Gobbell of Waynesboro and the late Hobert Gobbell. Mr. James was preceded in death by a grandson; Kenneth Borngesser.
Mr. Gobbell was a farmer and retired factory worker with Genesco. He was a member of the Wayne Furnace Church of Christ.
