JAMES MATTHEW (MATT) FORRESTER
was born in Savannah, Tennessee on July 2, 1969 the son of Roy Nolan and Verna Alice Shelby Forrester.
When he was younger, Mr. Forrester was active in Little League and Babe Ruth Baseball. He made All-Star Team and participated in State Tournaments in both Little League and Babe Ruth Baseball.
In 1987 he graduated from Hardin County Central High School where he was the 1986-1987 Offensive Basketball Player of the Year and Mr. H.C.H.S. Basketball his Senior year. Mr. Forrester worked in the electrical department for Clayton Homes of Savannah and was a member of Graham United Methodist Church.
Mr. Forrester enjoyed riding 4-wheelers with his brother, daughters and friends. He enjoyed running the river in his boat with Derek and their friends and playing their music. He also enjoyed working and fixing up his big "Green Surburban Monster." Matt was loved by his family and friends.
He departed this life on March 13, 2007 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 37 years, 8 months and 11 days.
Mr. Forrester is survived by 2 daughters, Casey Forrester of Savannah, Tennessee and Gina Forrester of Savannah, Tennessee.
