James Hillard (Jimmy) Farmer
June 18, 1944 — June 8, 2019
Mr. James Hillard "Jimmy" Farmer was born June 18, 1944 in Wayne County, TN the son of Lona Cook Ricketts. Mr. Farmer was a General Laborer for United Airlines and proudly served his Country in the United States Army. Mr. Farmer departed this life on June 8, 2019 in Huntsville, Alabama at the age of 74 Years, 11 Months, 21 Days.
He is survived by his wife Lois Vanmeter of Huntsville, AL; three sons, James H. Farmer Jr. and wife Rebecca of Orlando , FL, Tom Farmer and wife D.J. of Toney, AL and Ricky Farmer of Hunstville, AL; two brothers, William Farmer of Camden , TN and Glen Farmer of Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by many other loving family members.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Farmer was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Farmer and a sister, Joyce Reeves.
A Graveside Service will be held on June 13, 2019 at the McCall Cemetery in Collinwood, Tennessee at 3:00 PM, with Military Honors.
