James Ronald Everling

James Ronald Everling was born May 31, 1947 in Indianapolis, IN the son of the late Jesse Cleo and Hattie Belle Bush Everling. He was united in marriage to Theresa Gutierrez on July 27, 1973.

James was a member at The First Baptist Church of Selmer North Campus. He worked as an accountant for many years. He enjoyed playing basketball with his children, going to church, and loved spending time with his family.

Mr. Everling departed this life on November 8, 2023 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 76 Years, 5 Months, 9 Days.

He is survived by his wife Theresa Everling of Selmer, TN; two sons, Jesse Everling and wife Britt, James Everling Jr. and wife Rena; two daughters, Heather Davison and husband Stephen, Kimberlee Van Orden; twelve grandchildren, Trevor Everling, Micah Everling, Tabitha Everling, Emmalisa Everling, Justin Everling, Ezekiel Everling, Andrew Everling, Dakota Everling, Atlas Everling, Lindor Davison, Zion Everling, Amber Mason; a brother, Paul Everling and wife Sherry.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Everling was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Foster; a brother, Clarence Edward Everling.
