James W Evans

James W "Buck" Evanswas born on January 23, 1921, the son of the late John Young and Lannie Dean Rose Evans.Mr. Evans joined the Navy in 1942 and served 3 years. He married Lonnie Wilson on October 13, 1945, who survives.He departed this life on August 31,2007 at the age of 86 Years, 7 Months, 8 days.In addition to his wife he is survived by 2 children: Jamie Evans of Grand Junction, Tennessee and Margie Chappell of Columbia, Tennessee; 3 Brothers: Rex Evans, Jack Evans, and Howard Evans; 2 Sisters: Robbie Ricketts and Ruth Haggard; 4 Grandchildren: Stacey Evans, Tony Devers, Amy Wilson, and Kim Davis; 8 Great-grandchildren: Kyle Devers, Connor Devers, Remington Wilson, Madison Wilson, Christine Davis, Tommy Lenn Davis, Amaris Davis, and Abigail Davis.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 3 brothers: J.E. Evans, Royal Evans, and Curtis Evans.
