James Leroy Ester

Mr. Ester passed away Monday afternoon at the Tennessee State Veterans Home in Humboldt.
He served in the US Military for 27 years, retiring as a Staff Sergeant. He was born to George and Margaret Stellmach Ester, both of whom preceded him in death.
Survivors include two sons, James L. Ester, II and h is wife, Lindia of Middleton, Joel L. Ester and his wife, Crystal of Toone; a daughter, Janifer Barrow and her husband, Chuck of Stanton, Tenn.; eight grandchildren, Jeannie Boone and her husband, Matt of Ripley, TN, David Baker of Whiteville, James Robert Baker of Stanton, Amber Ester of Henderson, leland Ester, Felicity, Zack and Bryson Ester of Toone; 8 great grandchildren, Brandon, Anna and Joshua Boone of Ripley, Shianne, Chenoa and Tala Baker of Toone, Leighanna and James Robert Baker, Jr. of Whiteville; three brothers, George and Franklin Ester of Belleview, Florida and Ed Ester of Raymond, Wash.; and two sisters, Dorothy Smith of Belleview, Fla. and Alice Smith of Erie, Pa. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by and infant daughter, Ruth Nicole Ester.
