Services will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Home, Collinwood , Tennessee, with Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery , Lutts, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.
Visitaion will be on Tuesday, June 2, 6:00--9:00 pm and on Wednesday, June 3, 9:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Collinwood,TN
Mr. Eaton departed this life on Monday, June 1, 2009 at Maury Regional Hospital, in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 92 Years, 9 Months, 10 Days.
He was born August 22, 1916 in Lutts, Tennessee the son of the late Josephus and Tennie Stowe Eaton. In addition to his parents, Mr. Eaton was preceded in death by ; son, James Rex Eaton Jr.; and daughter, Carolyn Sue Kelley
Mr. Eaton was a automotive factory worker and member of the Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Clara (Bratton) Eaton of Waynesboro, TN;
daughters, Deborah Ann Harville of Lakeland, FL, Judie Eaton of Waynesboro, TN;
8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren
