James E. Williams

James E. Williams, born on March 14, 1959 in Union City, Tennessee, was a beloved son of the late Carlos and Sylvia Joyce Cox Williams. Those who knew him well would say that he was a gentle soul with a heart of gold. He had a special fondness for watching westerns, horses and his toy guns. James also enjoyed drinking coffee and snacking on sweets - something that always brought a smile to his face.

Sadly, on May 5th, 2023 in Selmer, Tennessee, James departed this world at the age of 64 Years, 1 Month and 21 Days. Although he may have left us too soon, we take comfort in knowing that James lived life to the fullest and was surrounded by caring individuals at the Madison Haywood Developmental Services  who became his second family.

James was preceded in death by one of his brothers and no doubt they are now reunited in heaven. His kind spirit and gentle demeanor will be missed by all those who knew him.

Rest well dear James - you were loved by many and your memory will live on in the hearts of those whose lives you touched.
